Las Vegas, NV – Today, the Cortez Masto campaign released a new video calling out Adam Laxalt for standing with fellow anti-choice Republicans who are pushing cruel legislation that restricts abortion access with no exceptions for rape, incest, or human trafficking. Following the Supreme Court’s draft decision, Senate Republicans are already working behind closed doors to enact a nationwide abortion ban, which Laxalt would support.
Nearly 70% of Nevadans support a woman’s right to choose, and Senator Catherine Cortez Masto has led efforts to protect reproductive rights. She has forcefully pushed back against her far-right colleagues in the Senate who want to overturn Roe v. Wade and revoke women’s fundamental freedoms.
